Mr. Julio Cesar Valentín, Senator of the Province of Santiago, Dominican Republic, met with HE Mohammed Abdullah Al Sulaiti, Advisory Council Observer of the State of Qatar, during the framework of his participation in the XVII Doha Forum.

Engineer Jesús Rodriguez Sandoval during his participation in XVII Doha Forum met with officials of the Supreme Committee for Delivery & Legacy (SC) (Organizing Committee of World Cup 2022).

Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al-Thani, Emir of the State of Qatar, the XVII Doha Forum was organized in Doha from 14 to 15 May under the title “Development, Stability and Refugee affairs”, a forum organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Qatar, with the participation of more than 600 personalities, politicians and intellectuals from various countries.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Haiti, HE Antonio Rodrigue met with HE Mr. Khamis Al-Sahouti, Qatar Ambassador to the Dominican Republic, on the sidelines of the minister's official visit to Santo Domingo.

HE Khamis Al - Sahouti, Qatar Ambassador to the State of Qatar met with Mr. Jesús Rodríguez Sandoval, a prominent engineer and Dominican businessman. During the meeting, he was given an invitation extended by H.E. Ahmed Ibn Hasan to Hamadi, Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the State of Qatar, to participate in the Seventh Forum of Doha which will take place in the Qatari capital during the period of May 14- 15, 2017.

HE Khamis Al Sahouti, Qatar Ambassador to the Dominican Republic received at the headquarters of the Embassy a delegation of the Republic of Haiti formed by Mr. Jean Charles Jacques, Mrs. Esther Antoine, Counsel to the President elected H.E. Jovenil Moise and H.E. Idalbert Pierre Jean, Ambassador of the Republic of Haiti accredited in the Dominican Republic.

HE Mr. Khamis Al-Sahouti, Ambassador of the State of Qatar, met with Mr. Alejandro Fernández, a prominent Dominican financier who serves as president of Argentarium, a leading financial adviser at the same time Secretary of the Board of the Dominican Stock Exchange Central, S.A. (Cevaldom), with more than twenty years of professional experience in the Dominican financial, private and public sector, who gave him an invitation extended by His Excellency Mr. Ahmed Ibn Hasan Al Hamadi, Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the State of Qatar, to participate in the seventeenth Doha forum to be held in the Qatari capital during the period of May14-15, 2017.

HE Khamis Al-Sahouti, Qatar's Ambassador to the Dominican Republic visited on the facilities of "Manitas en las calles" Foundation During his visit, His Excellency could appreciate the needs of the foundation and witness the progress in the study of the Arabic language. He could also observe what the foundation provides to the children and brought them school material, toys, clothing and sporting goods.

HE Khamis Al-Sahouti, Qatar's Ambassador to the Dominican Republic received Mr. Julio Cesar Valentin, the Mayor of Santiago Province and delivered him a letter from HE the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Sultan Bin Saad Al Muraikhi containing an invitation to participate in the Seventeenth Session of the Doha Forum that will take place in the Qatari capital between May 14 and May 15, 2017.
