Mr. Julio Cesar Valentín, Senator of the Province of Santiago, Dominican Republic, met with HE Mohammed Abdullah Al Sulaiti, Advisory Council Observer of the State of Qatar, during the framework of his participation in the XVII Doha Forum.

The meeting was attended by H.E. Khhamis Al-Sahouti, Ambassador of Qatar to the Dominican Republic, H.E. Hugo Guiliani Cury, Ambassador of the Dominican Republic to the State of Qatar and the Engineer Jesús Rodriguez Sandoval.

During this meeting, the two sides discussed about the bilateral relations between the two countries and the means to improve them. They also addressed issues related to the promotion of peace and the elimination of biological, toxic and other weapons of mass destruction, emphasizing the need for the legislators of being involved in these days in favor of a world where peace, security and an international rule of law prevail.

At the end of this meeting Mr. Julio Cesar Valentin received a distinction from the Consultative Council of the State of Qatar delivered by the H.S. Mohammed Abdullah Al Sulaiti, in recognition of his participation in the XVII Doha forum.
