The Embassy of the State of Qatar in the Dominican Republic celebrated the National day in which the Chargé d'Affaires a.i. Mr. Yaser Awad Al-Abdulla hosted a ceremony in honor of the Embassy’ guests and presented a speech highlighting the history of the State of Qatar and its progress under the leadership of his Highness the father Amir Sheikh Hamad Bin Khalifa Al Thani and the construction of the modern State under the leadership of his Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad the Thani.

The ceremony was attended by His Excellency Carlos Gabriel García, Vice Minister for Dominican Communities Abroad on behalf of HE. Mr. Miguel Vargas, Minister of Foreign Affairs; His Excellency Mr. Milton Ray Guevara, President of the Constitutional Court and the heads of diplomatic missions headed by his Bishop most Reverend Excellence Ghaleb Moussa Abdalla Bader, Apostolic Nuncio of his Holiness, Dean of the diplomatic corp accredited in the Republic Dominican, as well as several political, artistic, cultural, sports and media figures.
