Mr. Yaser Awad Al-Abdulla, Charge d'Affaires a.i., attended the military parade and the reception held in the capital Basseterre on the 36th anniversary of the independence of Saint Kitts and Nevis.

The ceremonies were chaired by His Excellency Samuel Weymouth Tapley Seaton, Governor General of Saint Kitts and Nevis and His Excellency Mr. Timothy Harris, the Prime Minister.

The ceremony was also attended by senior officials from the country, heads of diplomatic missions and several state representatives.
