The Embassy of the State of Qatar in the Dominican Republic celebrated the National day in which The Chargé d'affaires of the Embassy of the State of Qatar, Mr. Khalid Mohammed Al-Sharshani hosted a ceremony in honor the Embassy guests, highlighting the history of the State of Qatar and its progress under the leadership of his Highness the father Prince Sheikh Hamad Bin Khalifa Al Thani and the construction of the modern State under the leadership of his Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad the Thani.

The ceremony was attended by the Hs Excellency Nelson Toca Simo, Minister of Industry and Trade on behalf of the Dominican Government; His Excellency Ambassador Rafael Melo, Director of relations with Africa and the Middle East on behalf of HE Miguel Vargas, Minister of Foreign Affairs, and the heads of diplomatic missions headed by his Bishop most Reverend Excellence Ghaleb Moussa Bader, Apostolic Nuncio of his Holiness, Dean of the diplomatic corps accredited in the Republic Dominican, as well as several political, artistic, cultural figures and the media.
