Qatar makes donations to Saint Kitts and Nevis to relief the effects of Hurricanes Irma and Maria

The Non-Resident Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Saint Kitts and Nevis, H.E. Khamis Al-Sahouti, after his visit to Saint Kitts and Nevis, presented to the Prime Minister of Saint Kitts and Nevis, His Excellency Timothy Harris, a donation on behalf of the State of Qatar to the victims of Hurricanes Irma and Maria, whom struck Timothy Harris in September 2017, leaving hundreds dead and tens of thousands homeless, the meeting was also attended by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, H.E Mark Anthony Graham.

For his part, the Prime Minister thanked the Government and the people of Qatar on behalf of their government and their people for this contribution to alleviate the effects of hurricanes Irma and Maria on the island, praising the noble and humanitarian intentions that characterize the State of Qatar in such circumstances.

During the meeting, they discussed bilateral relations between the two fraternal countries and the means to strengthen and develop them, as well as matters of common interest.
