H.E. Khamis Al-Sahouti, Qatar Ambassador to the Dominican Republic held a meeting with the Secretary of Youth Affairs of the Dominican Liberation Party, Mr. Franklin Rodriguez as part of a visit to the embassy's headquarters after receiving an invitation on behalf of the Ambassador, including the participation of members specialized in International affairs and a group of leaders of the political party, as well as a delegation of journalists from the main Dominican newspapers.
 
During the meeting, Mr. Franklin Rodriguez thanked the ambassador for his invitation to clarify the state of Qatar's view of the Gulf crisis, and the ambassador took the opportunity to explain his circumstances and stages.
 
For his part, Mr. Franklin Rodríguez expressed his solidarity with the State of Qatar in the crisis and siege and his admiration for Qatari development projects. He also praised his important role in the Middle East and helping the development of countries and youth, expressing confidence in the success of the State of Qatar in organizing the 2022 World Cup.

At the end of the meeting, they discussed bilateral relations and discussed ways to tighten them.
