The Embassy of the State of Qatar in Santo Domingo  made a  donation to the Faro to Columbus Dominican Monument and Museum of Qatari Symbolic articles. We hope that people who visit the Museum can learn about the history, culture and customs of our State of Qatar.

H.S. Khamis Al-Sahouti, Qatar Ambassador to the Dominican Republic, immensely thanked for this opportunity to His Excellency Mr. José Antonio Rodriguez, Minister of Culture and Mr. Mario Bonetti, Director of the Faro a Colón, as well as all other persons involved in this project.

The present, is the first contribution to the Dominican people, representing the State of Qatar, and be assured that it will be the first of many to come.
