H.E. Khamis Al Sahouti, Qatar's Ambassador to the Dominican Republic met with Mr. Vinicio Tobal Ureña, Viceminister of Multilateral Foreign Policy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Dominican Republic, where they exchanged words on the importance of the support to the candidacies between the two nations with a view to strengthening and encourage the  bilateral relations between the State of Qatar and the Dominican Republic.

Both expressed appreciation for the support received from the previous candidacies, which strengthen the cooperation ties between both nations.
