The Embassy of the State of Qatar in the Dominican Republic celebrated today the National Sports Day in the Park Mirador Sur in the capital of Santo Domingo, where all employees of the Embassy participated.

This sporting event included various physical exercises, which motivated the curiosity of many visitors to the park that followed the event with great enthusiasm.

The National Sports day of the State of Qatar is held every year, on the second Tuesday in February, with the main objective of promoting a healthy lifestyle among the population.

Qatar has become one of the few nations to devote a day of sports.The first national sports day took place in the year 2012.
