The Embassy of the State of Qatar in the Dominican Republic celebrates the National Sport Day at the Sports and Recreational Park in the Cornice of Santo Domingo, where Embassy employees and many students from the Autonomous University of Santo Domingo participated.

This sport event included a volleyball match and other physical exercises, which aroused the curiosity of many park visitors who followed the event with a great enthusiasm.

At the end of the event, His Excellency Ambassador Khamis Al Sahouti highlighted the importance of sports in the development of individuals and society and distributed some souvenir gifts to the winners of the competitions.
